St. Jude’s Hr. Sec. School is a reputed CBSE-affiliated minority educational institution operated by the Catholic Diocese of Khandwa (Registered), under the chairmanship of Most Rev. Augustine Madathikunnel, Bishop of Khandwa.

Established in 1985 under the visionary leadership of the late Most Rev. Dr. Abraham Viruthakulangara, the then Bishop of Khandwa, St. Jude’s School began through the initiative of Rev. Fr. M. Chinnappar, the then Parish Priest of St. Jude’s Church, Aurangpura, Khargone. Supported by the dedicated efforts of FSMA sisters the school aimed to provide a solid educational foundation and instill enduring values in the children of the city. Managers, Rev. Fr. M. Chinnappar (1985-1987) Rev. Fr. Jimmy Vayalil (1987-1992), Rev. Fr. Mathew K.J (1993-2001), Rev. Fr. Jose P.A (1992-1993 & 2001-2010), Rev. Fr. T.P. Abraham (2010-2011), and Rev. Fr. John Victor (2011-2017) led the school through its formative years, working tirelessly on the construction of new buildings and ensuring adequate facilities, which led St. Jude's Hr. Sec. School to become an icon in Khargone city.

The construction phases of the school were marked by blessings and inaugurations by esteemed figures including Most Rev. Dr. Abraham Viruthakulangara, Honorable Minister Mr. Subash Yadav (then Member of Parliament from Khargone), Rev. Fr. Jose Vaipana (then administrator of the Diocese), Most Rev. Dr. Leo Cornelio SVD (Archbishop Emeritus and then Bishop of Khandwa), Rev. Fr. Chinnappar (then administrator of the Diocese), and Most Rev. Archbishop A.A.S. Durairaj SVD (Archbishop of Bhopal and then Bishop of Khandwa).

In 1992, academic management was entrusted to the Dominican Sisters of the Presentation, succeeding the FSMA sisters. Under the leadership of principals Rev. Sr. Maria Lawrence FSMA (1985-1986), Rev. Sr. Rose FSMA (1986-1987) Rev. Sr. Deepti FSMA (1987-1992), Rev. Fr. Jimmy Vayalil (1992-1994) Rev. Sr. Deepa Moonely OP (1994-2002), Rev. Sr. Elsy OP (2002-2008 & 2016-2022), and Rev. Sr. Teresa D’Souza (2008-2016), who played pivotal roles in elevating the institution to its present esteemed status. Continuing this legacy, Rev. Fr. Shibu Chandy and Rev. Sr. Teresa D’Souza uphold the mission of imparting divine knowledge and love to the children of today, fostering true education encompassing discipline, cultural values, and ethical behavior.
